RECIPE USED IN MAKING EGG ROLL
- 500 grams of flour
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder or yeast
- Nutmeg
- Granulated sugar
- 100 grams of margarine or butter
- 6 eggs
- 1/2 cup of milk
- Pepper
- Paprika
- Vegetable oil
- Water
- Powdered garlic

- Egg whisk
- Mixing bowl
- Chopping board ( any clean flat surface. You can also use a table)
- Dough cutter
- Paper towels
- Rollers
- Spoon
- Frying pan
- Gas/ stoves
INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO MAKE EGG ROLL
√ Make sure all your equipments are clean and on the table. Endeavour to wash your hand and dry with a towel.
√ Cook all the 6 eggs ( or any amount you've gotten) in a pot of water. Remove the boiled eggs and unshell it.
√ Turn warm water in your medium size bowl and add your baking powder or yeastK
√ Keep the mixture in step 3 aside for around 4 - 5 minutes, then add your paprika using a whisk and add your
√ Pour your flour into the mixing bowl and Begin kneading
√ Remember to rub floor around your hands before you start kneading
√ Keep kneading smoothly until you get an even, smooth dough mould
√ Pour flour on your flat surface ( Maybe your chopping board or table), then turn out the whole kneaded mould onto the surface
√ Begin flattening out your dough using a roller until the dough is flat enough. Let's say 1cm thick
√ Use a dough cutter to cut the dough into 6 circles ( depends on the amount of eggs you are using)
√ Pick up your peeled eggs and place them in - between the cut dough. Be careful as possible, wrap the dough around the egg fully and make sure it's perfectly even
√ You can divide the eggs into two equal halves so that you have much dough
√ Cover up all the roll and leave for 20 minutes
√ Pour your vegetable oil into the frying pan and heat at low temperature. Don't let the oil smoke
√ Gently drop the rolled dough into the pan of oil. Drop as many as possible but do not over crowd the pan
√ Keep a close look at the colour of the dough. Don't make it so brown and don't burn it
